I love to eat, so sometimes it’s easy for me to fall off the wagon with my healthy eating and exercise regimen. Getting off track is never enjoyable, but usually I just need to take a step back and refocus. What works for me is a little inspiration, some positive thinking, and strengthened self-discipline

3 Ways to Diet But Still Get the Nutrition You Need

By Tina Haupert The older I get (I’m 30 now!), the more I find myself doing things that are healthy for me. I used to eat vegetables because they were low in calories, and they’d help me lose weight. I’d also spend hours at the gym each week, on the elliptical or stair-climber, just to burn calories.

By Tina Haupert Last week, I spent four days in Vermont and New Hampshire with a few other bloggers as part of the first-ever Stonyfield Farm Blogger Barnstorming Tour. It was a chance for us to get some mud on our boots—and to learn firsthand why organic food really is good for us and the planet. We met farmers, who are true caretakers of the land and their animals and work hard every day to produce food for our tables and families. Since reaching my Feel Great Weight, I’ve put more thought into what I put into my body, and my trip made me think about that even more. I didn’t know much about organic farming, so this was an eye-opening trip for me.
